Mrs. Miriam Mitchell Conner, age 53, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2009 at her home.
Mrs. Conner was born September 1, 1955. She was predeceased by her mother, Shirley M. Mitchell, and a nephew, Brandon Mitchell.
She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carroll Conner; her father, John Mitchell of Ahoskie; her daughters, Jennifer Lassiter Brock and her husband, John, of Ahoskie and Sherri Marie Lassiter of Tunis; her step-sons, Kevin Conner of his wife, Julie, of Hatteras and Keith Conner and his wife, Jennifer, of Tyner; two brothers, Randy Mitchell of Ahoskie and Gene Mitchell and his wife, Patty, of Roxobel; her sister, Ann Blake and her husband, John, of Charlotte; and 11 grandchildren, Devan, Bailey, Andrew, Hannah, Charlie, Kristen, Brandon, Payton, Lauren, Dustin and Jackson.
Graveside services were held on Monday, April 27 at Aulander Cemetery. Rev. Mark Hall officiated.
