Grady J. Mitchell of Colerain died Saturday, April 25, 2009.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Mitchell and Collis Mitchell, both of Ahoskie, and Willie Mitchell of Murfreesboro; five daughters, Carolyn Mitchell of Ahoskie, Evelyn Mitchell and Debra Miller, both of Murfreesboro, Wanda Outlaw of Como and Terri Hayes of Durham; four brothers, Jimmy Mitchell and Earl Mitchell, both of Ahoskie, Winston Mitchell of Powellsville and Bobby Mitchell of New York; one sister, Brenda Mitchell of Ahoskie; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 30 at Elm Grove Baptist Church, Aulander, with the Rev. Anthony Ward officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Ahoskie.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is in charge of the arrangements.
