Melvin Junious Wiggins, 61, died April 1, 2009.
He was employed by Wal Mart, Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Wiggins; two sons, Tony Wiggins of Hampton, VA and Timothy Lewter of Ahoskie; a daughter, Jackie Freeman of Ahoskie; two brothers, Ernest Wiggins of Chesapeake, VA and Clifton Wiggins of Virginia Beach, VA; five sisters, Loretta Wiggins and Irene Wiggins, both of Norfolk, VA, Helen Hurd of Charlotte, Queen Lassiter of Ahoskie and Vera Gilchrist of Memphis, TN; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on April 5 at the Soul Saving Station, Ahoskie. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Hunter’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
