Helen Taylor Kagels, 96, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009.
She was a native of Northampton County and served in the Women’s Army Corps during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice K. Campbell of Richmond, VA; a son, Thomas E. Kagels of Powhatan, VA; a sister, Annie Taylor Bass of Seaboard; two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 4 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Seaboard, with the Rev. Robert Hill and the Rev. Lee Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 111 Harris Street, Seaboard, NC 27876.
Arrangements are being handled by Massey Funeral Home, Jackson.
