WOODLAND – Paline Jernigan Rountree Robertson, 91, died Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
A was a native of Bertie County.
Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth Jenkins of Woodland, Grace Hodges of Roanoke Rapids and Vickie Jones of Richmond, VA; two sons, Billy Rountree Jr. of Roanoke Rapids and L.G. Rountree of Jacksonville, FL; five sisters, Nettie White, Annie Mae Hill, Edna Jernigan, Vergie Mizelle and Ruby White, all of Askewville; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 2 at the Aulander Cemetery with the Rev. Julian Mills officiating.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service in Aulander.
