POTECASI – Joseph Thomas “J.T.” Sumner, 82, of Potecasi died Friday, March 27, 2009 at his home.
A native of Northampton County, he was a member of Potecasi Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Joseph Thomas “Joey” Sumner of the home and Calvin Sumner of Woodland; a sister, Cornelia Sumner of Potecasi; and a grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 30 at Potecasi Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of Cornelia Sumner, NC 35, in Potecasi.
