Henry Simmons

WINDSOR – Henry Albert Simmons, 65, of Pine Ridge Road, Windsor, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009.
A native of Bertie County, he was a mechanic with Bertie County Schools, a veteran of the Army/National Guard and a member of the Masonic order.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Baker Simmons of Windsor; two sons, Richard Earl Simmons of Edenton and Carroll Allen Simmons of Walnut Grove, MO; one daughter, Emily Simmons John of Windsor; two brothers, Kenneth Simmons and Jack Simmons Jr., both of Windsor, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at Windsor Assembly of God with Rev. Chuck Gray and Rev. David Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
