STAFFORD, VA – Carolyn Gaye Eustace Spence, 68, of Stafford, VA died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at her daughter’s home.
Mrs. Spence was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church where she was very active for many years. She was most recently a member of Kingdom Baptist Church. She was a loving example and chaperone for Maranatha Touring Choir.
Mrs. Spence was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Spence of Conway, NC.
Survivors include her son, Robert Jeffrey Spence and his wife, Lillian, of Passapatanzy VA; two daughters, Bonita Spence Keene and her husband, Greg, of Stafford, VA and Kelley Susanne Spence of Stafford, VA; one brother, William Eustace and his wife, Brenda, of Spotsylvania, VA; two sisters, Janice Sullivan of King George, VA and Brenda Sullivan of Fredericksburg, VA; two grandchildren, Michal Corinn Keene and Evan Nathaniel Keene; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm Saturday, March 28 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Interment will be at a later date at Rock Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home for a time of fellowship.
