Grace J. Bass Perry, 79, of Powellsville died Monday, March 9, 2009 at Chowan Skill Nursing Facility, Edenton.
A native of Suffolk, VA, she was the District Missionary of Roundtree Temple.
Survivors include two sons, Lonzelle Perry of Middletown, CT and James Cherry of Quantico, VA; four daughters, Alycia Saulsberry of Colerain, Juanita Bailey of Garner, Brenda Mitchell of Hyattsville, MD and Gennie Wilson of Middletown, CT; two sisters, Gladys Snyders of Philadelphia, PA and Mary White of Powellsville; 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 at Roundtree Temple of Praise, Powellsville, with Bishop J.C. Watford officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
