Crenell Thomas, 79, of Harewood Road, Murfreesboro, died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Guardian Care, Ahoskie.
A native of Hertford County, he was a member of New Haven Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, and a retired farm worker.
Survivors include sisters, Dennie Mae Futrell, Lania Gatling and Hazel Deloatch, all of Murfreesboro; and brothers, Lloyd Thomas and Weylon Thomas, both of Murfreesboro.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 11 at New Haven Baptist Church. The Rev. Lloyd Gatling officiated. Burial was in Carver Park Cemetery, Murfreesboro.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Rich Square, handled the arrangements.
