Detrick L. White of Winton died Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A native of Hertford County, he was a member of Jordan Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, De’Andra Rochele White of Raleigh; his mother, Brenda Morris Charity of Raleigh; his father, Larry White of Ahoskie; one brother, Telfon Reed of Bronx, NY; one sister, Tarsha C. White of Knightdale; and grandparents, Theora White of Ahoskie and Shirley Morris of Raleigh.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 by the Rev. James Shearn at Soul Saving Station Church, Ahoskie. Burial will be at Jordan Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hunters Funeral Home, Inc., Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
