Hazel Maxine Lassiter Stephenson, 92, of Conway died Saturday, February 28, 2009.
A native of Johnston County, she was retired after 20 years of work at Aster Nut Company.
Survivors include her daughters, Veronica Byrd of Severn, Wanda Baker of Nags Head, Kitty Weiskopf of Baltimore, MD, Nancy Latone of Rochester, NY and Donna Futrell of Conway; a son, Jennings Stephenson of Laurel Springs, NJ; 14 grandchildren; 18 grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 2 at Jackson Baptist Church. Rev. Bob Johnson officiated. Burial followed at Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, Va.
