Charles Edwards Roche Sr., 71, died Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the Brian Center in Windsor.
Roche was formerly from Edenton. He was born in Long Beach, CA and was a self-employed painter for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte R. Smith of Lewiston; two sons, Charles Roche Jr. of Roanoke Rapids and Douglas Roche of Ahoskie; one sister, Catherine Harrell of Edenton; two brothers, Frank Roche of Richmond, VA and Donald Roche of Nags Head; and three grandchildren,
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1536 N. Broad Street in Edenton.
The family will be meeting at the home of Catherine and John Harrell, 305 W. Queen Street, Edenton.
