Carlton E. Pierce of Winton died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at his residence.
He was a member of Newsome Grove Baptist Church, Ahoskie.
Survivors include his wife, Susie H. Pierce of Winton; three sons, McKenzie Eugene Pierce of Louisburg, Barry Pierce of Hampton, VA and Tracy Pierce of Durham; one daughter, Wendy Pierce of Durham; three step-children, Missy Hill, Michaela Seagant and Calvin Hill, all of Greenville; two brothers, Walter Pierce and William McKinley Pierce, both of Ahoskie; six sisters, Josephine Pierce of Ahoskie, Gerlean Beverly of Philadelphia, PA, Vernell Alston of Franklinton, Lucinda Holloman of Fair Oaks, CA, Algie Worley of Pasadena, CA, Janice Jones of Lovettsville, VA and Alma Wright of Edison, NJ; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20 at Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie, with the Rev. Roy Sharpe officiating. Burial will be in the Pierce Family Cemetery.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is in charge of the arrangements.
