Ruth Marie Riddick Williams, 60, of US Highway 158 Business, Gatesville, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at UNC-Chapel Hill Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Ervin Williams Sr.; a daughter, Jennifer Marie Williams of Gatesville; a son, Robert Ervin Williams Jr. of Charlotte; two sisters, Shirley Leary of Gatesville and Naomi Knight of Gates; a brother, Alvin Riddick of Gatesville; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 27 at New Hope Baptist Church, Gatesville. The Rev. Hugene Fields officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Stallings Funeral Chapel, Gatesville, handled the arrangements.
