Raymond Speller, 52, of Ahoskie died Monday, January 26, 2009 at Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
A native of Hertford County, he was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He was a caretaker of the Wash House.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Speller of Ahoskie; two sons, Raymond Lewter of Ahoskie and Keyon Lamont Jenkins of Lewiston; a step-son, Justin L. Edwards of Lewiston; a step-daughter, Kimberly Edwards of Durham; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31 at Hunters Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie by the Rev. Roy Sharpe.
