Murray Copeland Bunch, 78, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, Va.
A native of Hobbsville in Gates County, he was retired from the Coca Cola Company after 36 years as a supervisor and was a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Whitehurst Bunch; daughter, Cindy Chavis of Suffolk, VA; sons, Kenneth Bunch of Carrsville, VA, Keith Bunch of Chesapeake, VA and Bobby Bunch of Suffolk VA; sister, Hallie Lane of Belvidere; brother, Otis Bunch of Maple; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 24 in the R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory, Suffolk, VA, by the Rev. Donald Jones with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
