Lola C. Overton, a native of Hertford County, died Friday, January 23, 2009 at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh.
Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Overton of Raleigh, Chuck Overton of Stafford, VA and Sammy Overton of Cheltenhan, MD; a daughter, Antoinette Boone of Ahoskie; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31 at New Harrellsville Chapel Baptist Church, Harrellsville, with Dr. James King officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is in charge of the arrangements.
