Curtis Lyndelle Leary, 48, of Tony’s Lane, Windsor, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, VA.
He was a native of Hertford County.
Survivors include his wife, Synthea Leary of the home; his mother, Doris Leary of Windsor; his father, Floyd Leary Sr. of Norfolk, VA; his children, Tambra Leary of Alabama, Kendrick Holley and Lakisha Holley, both of Windsor, and Michael Holley of Norfolk, VA; godchildren, Tondra White, Ny’Kayla Downing and Arianna Bunch, all of Windsor; brothers, Floyd Leary Jr. and John Leary, both of Windsor, Danny Leary of Virginia, Early Leary of Merry Hill, Kenneth Leary of New Jersey and Christopher Leary of Norfolk, VA; sisters, Dianne Rodger of Perrytown and Marion Leary of Windsor; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Colerain, with the Rev. Nathaniel Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Morris Family Cemetery, Perrytown.
