Clarence Flythe, 78, of Aulander died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at his residence.
A native of Newsoms, VA, he was a member of Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He was retired from Georgia Pacific as a fork lift driver.
Survivors include a son, Gregory Flythe of Aulander; a daughter, Shirley Daniels of Greenville; a brother, James Manley Flythe of Va. Beach, VA; three sisters, Ethel Sykes of Elizabeth City, Alvenia LeBoeuf of Va. Beach, VA and Sherdine Handshaw of Franklin, VA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 17 at Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Anthony Ward. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
