Bernice Majette Boone, 87, of Persimmon Street in Woodland died Monday, January 12, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro, N.C.
A native of Northampton County, she was a member of First Baptist Church Rich Square.
Survivors include a son, Harvey Claxton “Skip” Boone of Asheboro; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17 at First Baptist Church Rich Square. Burial will take place in the Anderson/Boone Cemetery, Woodland.
The family will be at the church from 10:30-11 a.m. prior to the service and at other times at 215 Persimmon Street, Woodland, to receive family and friends.
