Amos Bell Boone, 80, of Roanoke Rapids died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at Quankey Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids, with the Rev. Joseph Battle officiating.
A visitation period will take place at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Burial will be in the Boone Family Cemetery, Gaston, immediately following the church service.
H.D. Pope Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, is handling the arrangements.
