Thomas Nelson McGlauhon Sr., 80, of the Edenton House, formerly of Taylor Mill Road in Eure, died Wednesday, December 10, 2008 in Chowan Hospital, Edenton.
A native of Norfolk, Va., McGlauhon was an Army veteran of World War II and had retired as a vending machine collections agent with the RC Cola Bottling Company in Norfolk, Va.
Survivors include a son, Thomas N. McGlauhon Jr. of Eure; a daughter, Eileen Balance of Chesapeake, VA; and four grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held Dec. 18 in the McGlauhon Family Cemetery, Eure.
Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, assisted the family with the arrangements.
