Nathaniel McCoy Dildy, 72, of Silver Springs Road, Sunbury, died Monday, December 29, 2008 at Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City.
Survivors include two sons, Antonio Dildy of Maryland and Steven Dildy of the home; five sisters, Essie Hinton of Belvidere, Mary Ann Hurdle of Gatesville, Stella Pemberton and Carolyn Jones, both of Gates, and Betty Butler of Winton; four brothers, James Dildy of Delray Beach, FL, Joseph Dildy of Gates and Johnnie Dildy and Charlie Dildy, both of Gatesville; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, Jan. 3 at Stallings Funeral Chapel, Gatesville, with the Rev. Lycurcus Harrell officiating. Burial will be in the Lebanon Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Gatesville.
Stallings Funeral Home, Gatesville, is in charge of the arrangements.
