Carrie Wheaton, 84, of Rich Square died Thursday, December 25, 2008 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
A native of Northampton County, she was a member of the choir at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Rich Square.
She was a retired housekeeper at Long Island Hospital in New York City.
Survivors include a son, Joe Debreaux of Rich Square; three daughters, Yvonne Hogan, JoAnn Dunbar and Jeanene Henry, all of East Orange, NJ; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Myrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Rich Square, is handling the arrangements.
