Sadie Dunlow Harrell, 90, of the 500 block of NC 561, died Sunday, December 28, 2008, at her home.
Mrs. Harrell was born in Bertie County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Minnie Powell Dunlow. She was a member of Hickory Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church, a homemaker, and was the widow of G. Wingette Harrell.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, June Harrell White of Ahoskie; her grandchildren, Bennett White and wife, Sandy, of Winton, Jennifer White Phipps and husband, Hancel, of Bunn, NC; and a great granddaughter, Heather White Matthews and husband, Jeff, of Ahoskie.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Hickory Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church, Ahoskie, with the Rev. Michael Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Garrett Funeral Home from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30 and other times at the home.
