Arthur “Beecher” Lassiter, 65, of Aulander died Saturday, December 27, 2008 at his home.
Lassiter was employed as a mechanic.
Survivors include his son, Steve Lassiter of Como; his sisters, Louise Cox of Millennium and Hazel Morgan of Ahoskie; and a brother, Carroll Lassiter of Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at Massey Funeral Home, Aulander. Burial will follow in the Job Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Louise Cox, 143 Millennium Road in Millennium.
