Ruby Jane Rushing Kiker, 83 of 5719 Unionville Road, Monroe, died Monday, December 15, 2008 at her home.
She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, John Henry Kiker of the home; two daughters, Teresa Jane Kiker and Annette K. Edwards, both of Monroe; two sons, Ronald Gene Kiker of Monroe and Rev. Henry Roger Kiker of Eure; one brother, John Adams Rushing of Monroe; five sisters, Julia Clontz, Dorothy Stroupe, Annie Mae Stroupe, Delane Mullis of Monroe and Clara Troutman of Statesville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18 at Antioch Baptist Church, Monroe, officiated by Rev. George Gouge, Rev. Mike Riley, Rev. Roger Kiker, and Rev. Tommy Kiker. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
