Norean Ballard Harrell of Winton died Thursday, November 27, 2008 at her residence.
She was a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church in Aulander.
Survivors include three sons, Clifton E. Harrell of Suffolk, VA, Calvin Ray Harrell of Marion, SC and Melvin J. Harrell of Winton; seven daughters, Olivia Harrell of Murfreesboro, Rena Crump of Bayside, NY, Eardean Farmer of Kitty Hawk, Diane Watford of Marion, SC, Carolyn Knight of Marion, SC, Shirley Lassiter of Aulander and Evelyn Edwards of Murfreesboro; one sister, Ivy Lee of Winton; 31 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 30 at Zion Grove Baptist Church, Aulander. The Rev. Lycurgus R. Harrell officiated.
Burial was in the Cladie Ambrose Cemetery.
