Bethel Tournament

The Bethel Christian Academy Holiday Classic is set to tipoff tomorrow (Friday).

The four-school varsity girls and varsity will begin at 4 p.m. Friday at Bethel Christian Academy with the Ahoskie Christian School girl’s squaring off with Williamsburg Christian Academy.

That contest will be followed immediately by another girl’s contest when host Bethel meets First Baptist of Suffolk, Va.

In the evening games, the varsity boys will begin with Williamsburg meeting Ahoskie at 7 p.m. That will be followed by Bethel and First Baptist at 8:30 p.m.

“We welcome everyone to come out and enjoy a good weekend of basketball,” said Bethel Christian Academy coach Joe Mizelle. “We think it will be fun and challenging.”

The games continue on Saturday with the Girl’s Consolation game slated for 11 a.m. That will be followed by the Boy’s Consolation at 12:30 p.m.

The championships of the tournament will begin at 2 p.m. with the Girl’s game and the boy’s will follow at 3:30 p.m.
