Minister William Robert Ashe Jr. of Greenville died Monday, November 24, 2008 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Harrellsville.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy M. Ashe of Rich Square; two sons, Christopher L. Ashe of Raleigh and Brenden T. Ashe of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Kendra C. Ashe and Whitney C. Ashe, both of Murfreesboro; two step-daughters, Ikeisha Jacobs and Ernestine Jacobs, both of Rich Square; his parents, Rev. William Robert and Gloria Artis Ashe of Harrellsville; a brother, Jeremy P. Ashe of Raleigh; three sisters, Glenda Cowell of Virginia Beach, Va., Gerri L. Ashe of Greenville and Robyn J. Ashe of Wendell; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Claude Odom officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
