Lakendria Shronda Speller, 31, of Fairfax Lane, Colerain, died Sunday, November 23, 2008 in Edenton.
A native of Bertie County, she was a member Ashland Missionary Baptist Church, Merry Hill.
She was a bus driver with Bertie County Schools
Survivors include two sons, Kemoné Dentae Perry and Ty’rek Jamal “TJ” Perry of the home, her mother, Marion D. Commander and stepfather, McKinley Commander of Elizabeth City, her father, Minister Ellis C. Speller and stepmother, Janie Speller of Aulander; grandparents, Ernest and Essie Capehart of Merry Hill and Edward Speller and step grandmother Daisy Speller of Colerain; and a sister, Tricia L. Williams of Zebulon.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29 at Roundtree Temple of Praise Church, Powellsville, with the Rev. J. C. Watford officiating.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Aulander, is handling the arrangements.
