John Jasper Eason, 79, of Murfreesboro died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Murfreesboro Family Care Home.
He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, and a farmer.
Survivors include a son, John Wayne Eason of Newport News, VA; daughters, Queen Ward of Ahoskie and Joyce Eason of Harrellsville; a sister, Gaynelle Williams of Ahoskie; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30 at Wilder’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rich Square. Burial will be in the Wilder’s –Cherry Family Cemetery, Aulander.
