William “Bill” Nello Rawls, 80, of Rawls Road, Aulander, died Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at his residence.
Born in Hertford County, Rawls was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Aulander.
He was a retired farmer and carpenter.
Survivors include sons, Ricky Rawls of Aulander and Tim Rawls of the home; a daughter, Cheryl Rawls of Aulander; a sister, Betty Terry of Roanoke Rapids; brothers, Jimmy Rawls of Aulander and Melva Rawls of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service and burial is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Rawls Family Cemetery, Aulander, with the Rev. J.N. Baggett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Aulander, is in charge of the arrangements.
