Perlie Page Jernigan, 73, of Cooper Hill Road, Windsor, died Thursday, November 6, 2008.
Jernigan was born Oct. 25, 1935 in Bertie County.
He was a retired technician with Cable Vision.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Jernigan and Thurman Matthew Jernigan, both of Windsor; two daughters, Phyllis J. Carpenter of Nashville and Clarissa J. Holliday of Williamston; three brothers, Clayborn Jernigan of Colerain, Billy Jernigan of Winton and Barney Jernigan of Greenville; one sister, Joyce Ann Mizelle; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, Nov. 9 at Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor, with the Rev. J.T. Edwards officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jernigan’s memory to Bertie County Rescue.
Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, served the Jernigan family.
