Thomas Cobb, 70, died October 31, 2008 in New York.
He was born on July 10, 1938 to the late Thomas Banks and Olivia Cobb.
Cobb was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include a son, James Cobb of New York; two daughters, Barbara Stewart and Renee Cobb of New York; two brothers, James and Johnnie Banks of Ahoskie; three sisters, Bernice Smith of Powellsville, Carolyn Banks of Ahoskie and Mildred Banks of New York; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Hunter’s Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie, by Pastor Jarvis Parker. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
