Mary Catherine Taylor Miller went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.
Cathy fought a courageous three and a half year battle against breast cancer with grace, dignity and peace.
She was born March 28, 1954 in Ahoskie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Beverly Taylor of Millennium, NC.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Chris Miller of Crumpler, NC. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Tonya Cook and husband Wayne of Richmond, VA, Bitsy Kerr and husband Wayne of Eggleston, VA, Pete Taylor and wife Janet of Brown’s Summit, NC, Bernie Taylor and wife Evelyn of Newport News, VA, and JoAnne Snook and husband Jim of Manlius, NY. Cathy was dearly loved by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Cathy was a Registered Nurse at Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, NC. She was a member of the Obids Country Church in West Jefferson, NC.
A Memorial service was held on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the New River Commons Area on Hidden Mountain Lane in Crumpler, NC. The service will be conducted by the Pastor Anthony Saralegui.
