Jean Joyner Thomas, 74, a native of Bertie County, died October 16, 2008 at the Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Ahoskie Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, John Thomas, two daughters; Patricia Almdale and Judy Lynn Jones, both all of Ahoskie; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ahoskie Church of Christ by the Rev. William Odom. Burial will be at the Joyner family cemetery in Aulander. The family will receive friends at the Ahoskie Church of Christ on Saturday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. Sykes Funeral Service, Rich Square, is in charge.
