Barbara Ann Chamblee Moore, 64, a native of Bertie County, died October 14, 2008 at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
Mrs. Moore was a member of Member of Greater Wynn’s Grove Baptist Church, Colerain, and dietician at Ahoskie House.
Survivors include her husband, Horace E. Moore of Colerain; a son, William Earl Moore of Cofield; daughters, Colette Moore and Rebecca Moore, both of Colerain, Mary Ann Williams of Mapleton, Jean Raynor and Shirley Mizelle, both of Ahoskie; her mother, Annie Chamblee of Powellsville; a brother, Kelvin Chamblee of Jamesville; sisters, Amanda Chamblee and Ruth Williams, both of Powellsville, Naomi Chamblee and Elsie Askew, both of Newport News, Va.; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Greater Wynn’s Baptist Church, Colerain, by Bishop Thomas E. Lee. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Aulander, is in charge.
