Hattie Belle Goode, 89, a native of Northampton County, died October 10, 2008 at her residence.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Holy Prayer Room Church, Rich Square, by Elder Charles Eason. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wilder’s Funeral Home, Rich Square, is in charge. A wake will be held from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Goode was a member of Mother of Holy Prayer Room Church, Rich Square. She was last employed at Perdue.
Survivors include a son, Johnel Goode of Rich Square; daughters, Margaret Robinson of Rich Square, Beatrice Robinson of Kelford and Dorothy Williams of Rich Square; a sister, Dorothy Stephenson of Seaboard; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
