Anise Newsome Williams, 87, formerly of Branchville, Va., died October 3, 2008.
Survivors include her daughter, Gwendolyn B. Steinbrecher; son, Grover G. Barnett Jr.; sisters, Helen Vick of Capron and Josie Gay of Seaboard; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Williams was a lifelong member of Eastern Star Chapter Branch Spencer No. 11.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Boykins Baptist Church, Boykins, Va., with interment at Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins.
