Andrew Peele Sr., 70, a native of Hertford County, died October 5, 2008 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Revelle Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. Elisha Barnes. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Marion F. Peele of Murfreesboro; one son, Andrew Peele Jr. of Murfreesboro; one daughter, Iris Peele of Murfreesboro; two brothers, James Peele and Joe Peele, both of Murfreesboro; four sisters, Blanch Mae Lassiter, and Geneva Peele, Jeanette Eley, all of Murfreesboro and Catherien Gatling of Murfreesboro; and 10 grandchildren.
