Ruth P. Myatt, 94, a native of Gatesville, died September 28, 2008. She was the widow of William A. Myatt.
Ruth served her country in the U.S. Army. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Presbyterian Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include her stepdaughter, Katherine M. Shadbolt; stepson, William A. Myatt Jr.; three grandchildren; and four great –grandchildren.
Burial was private followed by a memorial service held. Wednesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, by Pastor Mark Dean. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800 Nashville, TN 37214.
