Zola Ree Murray Gray, a native of Harnett County, died September 27, 2008. She was the widow of Charles Howard Gray.
Survivors include five children, Peggy Joyce Young of Brevard, Betty Ree Hobbs of Garner, Robert Frank Gray of Hobbsville, Zola Dianne Gray of Garner, and Charles Michael Gray of Kenly; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs Gray earned her living by being a seamstress for JC Penny and Nowells Clothing in Raleigh. Prior to this she worked the farm while her husband worked in construction.
