Romeo Alada, 84, a native of the Phillipines, died September 20, 2008 at Guardian Care Nursing Home, Scotland Neck.
Romeo enlisted in Phillipine Armed Services serving the in Air Force. He was a veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Amparo V. Alada of Ahoskie; two sons, Roberto Alada of Ahoskie and Reynaldo Alada of Manila, Phillipines; three daughters, Julie Garrido of Manila, Phillipines, Elizabeth Alada of France and Bernadette SanPedro of Pazinia, Africa; one sister, Angelica Alada of Manila, Phillipines; 11 grandchildren and; one great-grandchild.
