Ethel Louise Mason, 40, a native of Northampton County, died September 2, 2008 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
She was a member of Creeksville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Louise Lassiter Mason of Woodland; a son, Tyrone Mason of Wendell; brothers, Clarence Lassiter of Woodland and Henry Thomas Lassiter of NY; and a sister, Angeline Lassiter of Woodland.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wilder’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rich Square, by the Rev. Veronica Lofton. Burial will be in Wilder-Cherry Family Cemetery, Aulander.
