Mavis Harrington Lassiter, 84, a native of Hertford County, died September 6, 2008, at Roanoke Chowan Hospital. She was the widow of the late Brody Lewis Lassiter.
Mrs. Lassitre was a homemaker and a member of Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Church Women’s Auxiliary.
A celebration of life service was held Monday at Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Taylor Latham and the Rev. Paul Edwards. Burial was in Job Cemetery.
Survivors include her sons, Donald R. Lassiter, Larry Wayne Lassiter, Bobby Lewis Lassiter and Richard Keith Lassiter, all of Aulander; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Garrett Funeral Home-Ashley Chapel was in charge.
