James B. “Buddy” Moore, 94, a native of Hertford County, died August 26, 2008 at Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City.

He was a member of New Ahoskie Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Vonnie Roberts and Ida Mason; one son, James E. Moore; and 21 grandchildren.

Services are incomplete. Hunter’s Funeral Home is in charge.
