North Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper W.T. Smith takes measurements at the scene of a Tuesday afternoon crash on NC 11 near Murfreesboro. The driver, Donald Bishop Jr. of Como, was uninjured when the Chevy Tahoe he was operating flipped three and a half times, eventually coming to rest on the passenger side. Bishop was taken into custody and charged by Trooper Smith with driving while impaired, open container of alcohol and careless and reckless driving.
