Hattie Raynor Nichols, 74, a native of Hertford County, died August 9, 2008 at her residence.

A funeral will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday at Faith Tabernacle Church by Pastor Larry Nichols. Burial will be in the Nichols family cemetery. Condolences may be sent to www.huntersfuneralhome.com.

She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church where she served as Church musician and Mother of the Church. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Iris Harris and Belinda Savage, both of Colerain; four sons, Pastor Larry Nichols, Samuel Nichols and Michael Nichols, all of Colerain and Bryant Nichols of the home; two sisters, Hilda Perry of Cofield and Ora Jenkins of Brooklyn, NY; 21 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
